Product Description:  Decorate your home décor with this old farmhouse redware crockery. Once used as a pickling or storage jar, this gallon size, dark brown glazed redware crock stands just over 9 ¾” inches tall with a chippy appearance. Its rather heavy weighing just under 5 pounds with interior and exterior glazing.

Material:  Earthenware - Redware

Color:  Dark Brown

Condition:  Previously owned - used.  Chippy around top rim and base edge (as shown). Water tested with no leaks. Missing its lid. Interior and exterior glaze is still glossy although some scratches, glaze wear and chips around base along with a 1 ½ inch long chip on bottom edge (as shown).  Surface and firing imperfections. Raised 1” x ¼” raised piece of unglazed clay on body. Please refer to photographs. Being sold as a decorative piece of pottery and no longer recommended for food use.
