Product Description: Experience the beauty and craftsmanship of this 19th century English Mulberry Transferware Handleless Cup in the Damascus pattern from Staffordshire, England. Crafted from earthenware, the exterior of the cup showcases intricate Middle Eastern inspired scenes showcasing a horse drawn carriage with figures, distant minarets, tent and landscapes. The inner rim and bottom is decorated with additional Eastern scenes separated by clusters of floral. Its a smaller cup standing 2 1/4" inches with a capacity of 3/4 fluid ounce. A delightful example of early historical English transferware pottery.
