Product Description:  Are you searching for old farmhouse crockery with timeless character? Once used as a pickling or storage jar, this dark brown glazed redware crock stands just over 8 inches tall with a chippy appearance. Wheel thrown with a slightly flared mouth and incised three ring band encircling the body, this crock will blend well in a variety of décors.

Markings: No visible maker marks

Material:  Earthenware - Redware

Color:  Dark Brown (Bright Light Dark Brown, Dim Light appears almost black)

Condition:  Previously owned - used.  Chippy around top rim and base edge (as shown). Missing its lid. Interior and exterior glaze is still glossy. Some glaze wear around base rim. Some glaze, surface and firing imperfections. Please refer to photographs. Being sold as a decorative piece of pottery and no longer recommended for food use.
