Vintage Native American Handcrafted Leather Teepee with Child Southwestern Accent

Description:  This hand-crafted teepee may have once been a souvenir or toy gift. Constructed with leather, possibly rawhide in rigid and firm form, its nailed to a wooden base with dowel rods as posts for the teepee. It features a miniature, plastic doll depicting a child boy standing and peeking out from the door flap. Nicely decorated in earthy tones with Native American pictographs and/or symbols, this vintage Southwestern style accent adds both cultural and aesthetic appeal .

Condition: Previously owned - used. Condition commensurate with age and use.  Leather is very firm, rigid and hardened material with moderate age darkening and light fading. Split in wooden base but does not appear to affect the quality of the piece. No weakness is noticed. One dowel on top of tee pee is split (as shown). Some oxidation on small nails from age. Item is "not" recommended for children play. Being sold for decoration/accent only.
