Primitive Redware Crock Single Applied Handle Glazed Interior Pennsylvania

Primitive Redware Crock Single Applied Handle Glazed Interior Pennsylvania

Regular price $48.00

Description:  This early redware crock from the Pennsylvania region is a unique piece of primitive décor. It stands 7 1/2" tall with a single applied handle and a worn, unglazed exterior and glazed interior. Early redware crocks are difficult to find and often are damaged over the years due to the brittleness of the clay. Despite its age and condition, if you love primitive decorating, this crock is a fine representation of the earlier, simple way of living.
