Antique Flue Cover Victorian Girl Dated and Signed 1918
Product Description: During the Victorian days, decorative flue covers were hung over an opening once a stove was no longer in use and the pipe was removed. This helped to stop drafts and provided an attractive appearance rather than seeing an open hole. Signed and dated 1918, this antique flue cover features a young blonde hair, blue eyed Victorian girl framed under glass with a thin, tin frame and cardboard backing. It will arrive with the original chain, although the left side has become detached and unusable. When propped up on display, this 100 year old collectible still displays wonderfully.
