Product Description: Stoneware Ink Bottles similar to this one were once used as a Master Bottle to sell writing fluid in larger ounces. It stands 9 inches tall with a single pouring lip to easily fill inkwells. Incised on the front is “VITREOUS STONE BOTTLE, J. BOURNE & SON, PATENTEES, DENBY POTTERY, NEAR BERBY, P & J ARNOLD, LONDON”
