Description:  Accent your home with this simple yet decorative Redware Loaf Dish by Lester Breininger, Robesonia, Pennsylvania. It was a warm & sunny day on June 27, 1996 when this loaf dish was crafted from redware. In an oval and deep form it's rather long measuring 14 inches with a chocolate brown glazed interior with yellow wavy lines, an unglazed redware exterior and coggled rim. It bears the incision of his signature, date and weather on the back. Add this slip decorated pottery to your Lester Breininger collection or give a thoughtful gift to that pottery enthusiast.

Condition: Previously owned - used.  Good condition with two 1/8" – ¼” nicks/chips on edge of coggled rim, on opposite sides (as shown in photos). Light yellow glaze  Glazed surface is smooth and in good condition with no noticeable scratches or use. A few small rubs/light glaze wear on edge of slip (as shown).
