Signed Redware Pie Plate "Happy Anniversary Wernersville" Pennsylvania 1989 by Lester Breininger

Description:   Lester Breininger used techniques dating back to the 1700's.  This original 6 3/4" "Happy Anniversary Wernersville" glazed, redware, pie plate is decorated in natural color tones of brown and green on a yellow tone background.  Incised on the unglazed back, #85, Signed and dated, Breininger Pottery, Jan. 6, 1989 with an additional inscription below.  A lovely piece of Lester Breininger's work of art celebrating the anniversary 1914-1989, "75 years of Pleasant Living" Wernersville, Pennsylvania.
