Product Description: An amazing white ironstone Sauce Tureen Bowl on a Pedestal Base by T & R Boote, Burslem, England. Beautiful, fluted, paneled body encircles the bowl with a slight flair at top and a scalloped rim. Take a close look on both sides of the double handles with an embossed leaf motif in the center and below. A wonderful piece from one of T & R Boote’s creations that sits elegantly on a pedestal base with scalloped feet. Sadly, this tureen is missing its lid and ladle although could still be used as a candy dish or accent piece.

Condition:  Previously owned - used. Approximately 170 years old and in very good condition. No cracks or repairs. Minimal crazing, if any. Cannot detect any. Glaze is in very good condition with some small pin-point glaze spots beneath scalloped rim, body and pedestal base. Rim is surprisingly smooth. Light wear on bottom of base from normal use. Well made piece for its age. Missing lid and ladle. Please refer to photographs as they are part of the description.
