Product Description:  A charming 19th century Handleless Cup and Saucer Set of four from the 19th century.  Nicely decorated with a cheerful colorful palette using an early stick spatter technique in green and purple with blue trim on a white background.

Saucer: Height: 1 3/8”, Top Diameter: 5 ¾”

Material: Earthenware, Glaze (likely lead glaze)

Makers Mark: Unmarked although does exhibit spur marks from the making, dating this as an early set.

Origin: Unmarked

Condition:  Previously owned – used. Condition is consistent with age and use. Cups: all-over crazing is present. Some small paint splatters from the making. Two nicks on one cup rim which also is discolored, stained brown from age half way up the cup. Light roughness and/or a few nicks on base. Does not interfere with functionality. Saucers: All-over crazing is present. Glaze pops in center of one saucer.  1" hairline on edge of one saucer which also has a nick on rim(as shown). Spur Marks on the bottom of all four saucers in diamond form, from the kiln supports during the making. Being sold as a collectible, decoration purposes only.  Please refer to photographs.
