Product Description: An early, cobalt blue spongeware platter from the mid-1800s. In oval form with a subtle, scalloped edge it measures just over 13 inches long. An amazing, solid platter that can be mixed into contemporary décor or your country primitive decorating.

Condition: Previously owned - used. Condition is consistent with age and use. Over 170 years old, considered good and free of cracks. Some crazing is present although not easily seen in blue color. Two ¼” chips. One under top rim and one on top of rim. Normal light roughness and wear to glaze on edges and ring on base. Utensil marks on flat surface although can only notice when turned towards sunlight. Not recommended for food use.
