Original WWII Civilian Defense Messenger Steel Helmet and Arm Band Signed ~1940's
Product Description: Once used by a messenger assigned to an Air Raid Warden post to control and be responsible for assuring an important message gets through when communications break down, this steel Civilian Defense Messenger Helmet is a wonderful military memorabilia. With its original surface patina, "Lightening Flash" Insignia on the front and personalized on the inside rim by the individual with their name, this military collectible displays well. It will also arrive with an original cloth arm band with snaps, most likely used from same individual.
