Antique Victorian English Leather Top Hat Traveling Case Stamped JMW
Description:. A neat old leather top hat traveling case from the Victorian Era. This case with an English appearance is in worn condition, although still functional with loads of character. On the underside of the lid is a red silk lining and what is left on the interior sides of the base is a purple lined paper-like material. If you notice on the front there is an incised star emblem, possibly makers mark but undetermined. What makes this one special is the stamped black capital lettering, JMW which most likely was the owner of this special top hat case.
