Vintage Tin Litho Children's Beach Sand Pail Wooden Grip Bail Handle & Shovel by Chein

Product Description:  Charming and fun describes the colorful graphics featured on this children’s sand pail from by J. Chein & Co. Made of tin, it stands 8” tall with a 14” long shovel. The shovel featuring a pirate with his parrot and treasure chest is most likely not original to the pail, although they both look splendid together. The pail features a brightly colored beach theme with cheerful lithograph pictures encircling the exterior with vibrant green on the interior and base. The wire bail handle with the original, red painted wooden grip is still intact. Once a child's plaything from the past is now a lithograph collectible which can provide fond, nostalgic memories.

Exhibits some rusting and light dents on interior and exterior. Original green paint on interior and base. Out-of-round top opening (as shown). Shovel shows rusting on front and back with wear.
