Product Description: This primitive wall box may have once hung on a wall to store tallow candles. The construction appears to be older, crafted with wood, nails, a porcelain knob and dove-tailed corners on the pull-out drawer. Since then, it has been repainted in green for that primitive country appearance. On the larger size, it stands 24 inches tall and could be hung or placed on a flat table-top. Take notice of the charming carved heart showcased on the front and top of backboard, giving it a touch of folk art expression.

Condition: Previously owned - used. Condition is consistent with age and use. Solid construction although there is a 4" crack in front on right side of carved heart. Knob on drawer is a bit loose and drawer is "not" snug and does not fit properly, easily can fall out when on a tilt. Box itself appears to be of earlier construction with a later restored green paint. Please refer to photographs as they are part of the description.
