Description: Add a touch of rustic charm with this Folk Art Carved Wooden Comb Box. Crafted in the 1930s-1940s era and constructed with wood and small round nails, this wall box features a beautifully  a carved backboard with a heart and additional intricate geometric designs. On the front of the rectangular open box compartment is engraved with the word “Comb” and bordered with a leaf or wheat motif and carved notches around the lower half of the backboard. Experience the vintage unique style of this timeless treasure.

Condition:  Used. Condition is commensurate with age & use. Still appears to be strong and mostly solid construction. No looseness. Right side of compartment is partially pulled away from backboard with exposed nails along with a previous repair in seam below with small area of adhesive. Wood split on left side with previous thin adhesive repair in seam. Back of backboard are some paint splatters along with vertical scuff marks. Please refer to photographs.
