RS Prussia Porcelain Condensed Milk Can Holder With Ruffled Rim - c 1904-1918

Product Description:  During the Victorian era a common staple used at the dinner table was condensed milk.  To keep this original container out of sight, it was kept in beautifully decorated containers.  This highly valued, delicate RS Prussia porcelain condensed can holder features soft, pink roses with green foliage on a white and blended cream background.  The striking gold tone trim on the ruffled rim of the container, lid, two handles and curled finial, adds an extra touch of elegance which RS Prussia is known for.

Condition: Previously owned - used.  No cracks, chips or repairs.  The inside rim of lid has some roughness.  6-7 pink roses show wear or have mostly worn off.  A few small spotty age marks.
