Product Description: Showcase this original, gray mottled agateware pitcher made from one of the earliest makers of graniteware. This shapely, single-handled pitcher by Lalance & Grosjean (L & G Mfg. Co.), stands 8 ½” tall with a smooth, glossy appearance. Although it does have 1 ½” break in the steel on the bottom rim and cannot hold liquid, there is no doubt, this still is a fantastic early piece of graniteware which displays beautifully.

Condition: Previously owned - used. Good-Fair condition with an enamel chip on belly of pitcher with smaller chips on handle and top rim. Bottom edge of base has been dented earlier on, which caused a 1 ½” break in the steel. With this break, it cannot hold water. Damage cannot be easily seen when pitcher is in upright position. Being sold as an accent piece only. Smooth and shiny appearance.
