19th Century Gaudy Welsh Hand Painted 9" Plate Flower Basket Pattern
Product Description: This 19th Century 9” plate in the Gaudy Welsh “Flower Basket” pattern still holds most of its vibrant colors. A bold color pallet of cobalt blue, russet, green a pink luster (which appears as copper with applied overglaze on the cobalt blue). Take notice the potters artistic workmanship adding luster highlighting to the basket, and around the floral sections, giving it an eye-catching appearance.

Condition: Previously owned - used. No chips or cracks. Front: Light crazing. Colors still vibrant with exception of white which has some yellowing. Small discolored glaze pops and in the center. 1/2" slightly, raised flaw or scratch (as shown). Back: Shows age. Yellowing and staining on the back surface (as shown). A pin hole size indentation is present, although does not go through the dish. Light crazing.
