Antique Red Tin Toleware, Kitchen Storage Canister-Bin, Original Red and Black Paint

Product Description:  This superb late 1800’s storage tin with its original red and black paint may have once been used for kitchen dry goods storage or on a country or drug store counter.  It features a sloping front top with a flip-up, hinged lid.  It retains much of its original, chippy, exterior red paint on 3 sides, top, lid and black interior.

Condition:   Previously owned - used.  Flip-up door functions properly although top left is not aligned properly, slightly bent (as shown).  Retains most of original paint although displays surface wear with chippy, peeling paint, patina and scratches. More noticeable on top.  There are signs of black paint under the exterior red and on the interior.
