Antique Christmas Santa Claus Postcards Printed in Germany Early 1900s
Product Description: In the past it was a tradition to send postcards to celebrate different holidays. This collection of 3 Christmas postcards from early 1900's are marked “Printed in Germany”. Each of these early German lithographed postcards are slightly embossed featuring Santa in different scenes.
- A Christmas Message with Santa featured in a diamond shape with holly. Matte-like finish, slightly embossed. Christmas sticker on back and minimal pencil writing on back.
- Ä Joyful Christmas – Santa tossing down toys to children from an old-fashion airplane - 450/3 No 3811. Embossed with matte-like finish. Ink hand-writing on back.
- Scene with Santa reading a message by the fireplace. Above states: Santa – “No use of me coming around here – I’ll mention the place to Dr. Stork”. Embossed and glossy. Handwritten message on divided back along with address, stamp and postmark Jan. 1909
