Product Description:  During the 19th century butter print molds were highly used in farmhouse kitchens to give their butter more of a unique characteristic. This rather large, three piece wooden butter mold is impressed on a round piece of wood that features a three Leaf and Acorn pattern with a saw tooth leaf stem that wraps under the acorn. The plunger screws into the print which is housed in a dome shaped exterior case. It aged gracefully although has acquired some issues over the years which are noted under "Condition" below.

Condition:  Previously owned – used.  Functions as it should.  Aged patina.  Face of print has a thin 1 inch diagonal hairline crack with a thin repair to that area which wraps around to the back.  Due to age and repair, being sold as a collectible.  Not for food use.
