WWII Era Unsilvered Paper Tab Hanging Christmas Ball Ornaments - Pink, Blue & Green
Product Description: During World II, there was a metal rationing since it was needed for military purposes. Silvering used on Christmas ornaments was not used, leaving them with little decoration. Due to this shortage, manufactures were forced to use paper and cardboard as hangers for the ornaments. This lot of 6 unsilvered paper tab ornaments have lost some of their color over the years. They may not be the decorated balls we are now acquainted with, although now they are highly collectible and a piece of history and a reminder of those hardship times.
