Early Primitive Hand Carved Wooden Grease Bowl
Product Description: Early wooden bowls are amazing and have many uses. This primitive, wooden bowl was most likely once used as a grease bowl back during the 19th century. Hand-carved from a solid piece of dark wood with outstanding primitive character, this is not your ordinary wooden bowl. Measuring a bit under 9” wide, it features out-of-round form, dry surface patina and a few small worm holes and splits. A fine example of an early utilitarian bowl which displays unique, aged character. If you love primitives, it doesn't get much better than this one.
