Antique Blue & White Salt Glazed Stoneware Sugar Crock Canister with Lid

Product Description:  This early, salt-glazed stoneware crock decorated in a country blue and white with an Ombre' effect is stenciled with a printed “Sugar” label. Early stoneware canister crocks similar to this one are not commonly found especially with its lid. In cylinder form, it stands 6 ½ inches tall with an all-over embossed weaved pattern.

Condition: Used – Antique. Good solid piece of stoneware. Crack half way around handle on lid (as shown). Still a solid lid with no issues. Some small nicks/chips on side of lid (as shown).  Normal glaze imperfections. Please refer to photographs.
