Vintage Wool Hooked Rug "Mary Had a Little Lamb" Nursery Rhyme Collectible 1940s

Description:  A charming hooked rug scene probably from the 1930s-1940s era inspired by the Nursery Rhyme; “Mary Had A Little Lamb”. In rectangular form, handcrafted with wool on a burlap type backing this pictorial scene depicting Mary walking to school with her white lamb as it jumps and plays happily. A well-done piece that tells a story with scenery, flowers and what appears to be the school in the background.
