Vintage VIRESA Demijohn Bottle - Green Glass Jug in Woven Wrap w/ 2 Bangle Handles
Product Description: This wrapped green demijohn jug by Viresa was most likely once used to store wine. Made of thick, heavy glass, it showcases the embossed name, VIRESA at the top edge. The bulbous shape with a wide, open mouth is now perfect for displaying a spray of fresh or dried flowers. The glass exhibits two molded seams which extend up and over on the lip edge. A large dimple or punt can be felt inside the base of the bottle. What makes this decorative piece even more special is the hand-woven wrapping surrounding the circumference of the bottle and base along with two bangle handles. Normally you find vintage demijohns glass bottles nestled in wicker covers, although this wrap is a bit unique and boasts a lovely Southwestern Spanish or rustic feel.
