Antique Wooden Cash - Document Box, Tool Box w/ Drawer Tray, ca. 1900-1920's
Product Description: This handsome wooden box with a pull-out tray may have once been used as a merchant cash box and possibly later as a tool box. Weighing just over 8 pounds, it is constructed of wood with box jointed corners, a hinged lid and a latch and bears a black stamp of what appears to be H.H. Mundt on the front and left side. The pull-out drawer still retains much of its blue-gray and red paint. The exterior has gracefully aged showcasing its excellent patinated wood appearance.

Condition: Previously owned - used. Condition is consistent with age and normal use. No repairs. Latch works. Original drawer may have been a 4 compartment rather than 3. There may be an additional divider missing in the 12”x 6”section of the pull-out drawer and a wooden cover on the inside lid. Scratches, chips or loss of wood on bottom corners from normal use. Wear on paint and wood. H.H. Mundt stamp is not confirmed.
