Antique Coal Miners Railroad Hanging Whale Oil Lamp Chain & Hook Pittsburgh PA
Product Description: An early Coal Miner or Railroad Hanging Lamp from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Made of rolled steel with dovetailed construction, it still retains the original chain, hook and a portion of an old wick. Notice the word Pittsburgh is missing the "h" dating this lamp pre-1911, most likely 19th century.

Condition: Previously owned - used. Screw cap works properly. A round metal disk with attached hook, possibly part of the lamp is rattling loose inside body. One inch indentation on front under advertising and one ½” on front of spout. Some rusting – patina on body, inner cap, chain, hook and base.
