Product Description:  Iron ladles and skimmers similar to this pair were often hung and used for cooking in early American Colonial kitchens near an open hearth. Crafted with iron and brass, featuring hand-hammered handles and copper rivets, this pair of 20 inch long kitchen tools are perfect to display in your kitchen, cabin or in your open hearth space. 

  • Dipper: Features Iron Handle with Rattail Hanger, Brass Cup and Hammered Copper Rivets. 
  • Strainer: Features Hand-Hammered Flatten Iron Handles with Hook Hanger and Hammered Copper Rivets

Condition:  Previously owned - used. Both pieces offer solid construction with surface patina. Dipper is not perfect as brass cup exhibits some discolored areas on brass, indentations around edge of base and a 1/8" chip (as shown). Holds liquid with no issues. It showcases some wear and tear.
