Large Antique Cream Ironstone Tureen with Lid 13" Wheat Pattern Wilkinson England

Description:  Your friends and family will admire this large tureen with matching lid at your next gathering. From the early 1900s, in oval form it showcases an embossed wheat pattern on a fluted, paneled body and lid. It's rather large and chunky measuring just over 13 inches long with pierced double handles and pedestal base. Based on its size, this tureen probably was once placed in the center of the table and used as a communal bowl to scoop stew or soup. Now, it's an ideal shape and size to create a special centerpiece for your table. In cream tone, it can pair well with many home styles and colors.

Condition: Previously owned - used. Considered very good condition. Surprisingly, no chips, cracks or repairs. Rim on tureen body and lid are smooth. There is a slight indentation or imperfection which appears to be glazed over and in the making of the piece. Refer to close up in photo. Due to age, all-over crazing is present. Interior of tureen is clean. Missing ladle and under plate for a complete set. Please refer to photographs.
