Description:  A White Ironstone Vegetable Tureen - Serving Dish with Matching Lid by Johnson Brothers, England. In a rounded rectangular form, the body is slightly bulbous with paneled corners and applied, decorative handles. A simple tureen considered to medium size which could be combined with many other white ironstone patterns for your next table setting.

Condition: Previously owned - used.  Over 110 years old. Condition is consistent with age and normal use. Good condition. No cracks or repairs. Glaze is smooth. All-over crazing is present on lid. Minimal to no crazing on tureen body. One ¼” chip on lip underneath lid. Some yellowing/discoloration on lid handle and a small, round spot on interior side (as shown). Light wear on base. Three stilt marks on inside base from the making of the pottery. Please refer to photographs.
