Antique White English Ironstone Teapot 10" by Edward Pearson England
Description: This charming English White Ironstone Teapot from the 19th century by Edward Pearson, Staffordshire, England stands 10” tall and can hold up to 6 cups of liquid. Don't overlook the scalloped rim and well-defined fluted body that elegantly swoops outward towards the skirted raised base. An embossed leaf motif is featured beneath the ring handle, spout and side handle which adds additional elegance. A beautiful 150 year old timeless treasure which is still functional and decorative.

Markings: Stamped in blue with makers mark; Ironstone China Edward Pearson.
Condition: Previously owned - used. Condition is consistent with age and normal use. Clean interior with no staining. All over crazing and two nicks on the exterior body; one under pour spout and other on lower belly (as shown). At the top of the side handle, there is a hairline crack which appears to be within the glaze (as shown) with additional crazing. Handle appears to be very strong with no weakness identified. The underneath lid has 3 minor nicks and wear although lid fits nicely with no wobble. The bottom base does show some wear from normal use. Checked and free from any repairs.
