Antique Small White Ironstone Gravy Sauce Tureen by Johnson Brothers England

Description:  Add this White Ironstone Gravy – Sauce Tureen with Lid to your next table setting. Crafted by Johnson Brothers, Staffordshire, England in rounded rectangular form it features fluted corners on the bowl and lid with an embossed leaf design on one side of the lid handle. A simple tureen considered a small size perfect for a serving of gravy or sauce.

Condition:   Previously owned - used. Condition is commensurate with age and use. Considered in very good condition although “missing ladle”. No repairs, chips or cracks. Interior is clean with no staining. Light wear on base. Three stilt marks on inside base from the making, confirming an earlier piece of pottery. Please refer to photographs.
