Antique Hand Forged Wrought Iron & Brass Ladle Dipper 19" Hook Hanger
Description: During the Colonial times and later, often many American homes were known to prepare meals over a wood fire. Early utensils similar to this one were used for a variety of purposes and hung above the hearth, on a timber when not in use. Measuring just under 19 inches long, this ladle was hand-crafted by an early blacksmith. It's all original with beautiful aged patina and a slightly primitive appearance.
