Antique Small Oak Bentwood Dry Measure Stamped H.S. ORANGE
Description: An early bentwood dry measure with an attractive oak appearance which has darkened with age. It's a smaller size measuring 4 inches tall with a 7" diameter. Constructed with an overlapped and nailed seam that still retains the original 9 round nails with small tack nails on the bottom edge. Over the years the surface has acquired a rather wonderful, smooth surface which adds to the original beauty. It bears the incision stamped signature HS ORANGE on the bottom.
