Product Description: Back in the day, many farmers sold their eggs to local stores and neighbors using egg crate carriers similar to this one. Made of wood, this carrier is a piece of history from Twin Brook Farms Garland, Maine. It still retains its original hardware, nails, wire bail handle and wooden grip. What makes this special is the original advertising on all four sides, “Twin Brook Farms Garland, Maine Fresh Eggs”. A very nice Country Farmhouse accent for your kitchen or porch.

Condition: Previously owned - used. Condition is consistent with age. Overall good condition with minor surface wear, scuffs and natural surface patina. Hardware with slide and lift up top are in working order although most of the locking mechanisms on these early carriers are be a challenge to work with. One interior cardboard egg separator has a hole in one egg section (as shown).
